Special Olympics Athletes Shine in Artistic Gymnastics
From June 17th to 25th, Berlin hosted the Special Olympics World Games, the world's largest inclusive sports event. The Spiele showcased the extraordinary abilities of 7,000 Special Olympics athletes and Unified partners from around the globe.
Among the highlights was the Level 1 Women's All Around Gymnastics Artistic competition, which drew a large crowd. The finals took place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on June 11th.
Artistic Gymnastics has been a mainstay of the Special Olympics World Games since 1972, offering a platform for athletes with intellectual disabilities to showcase their talent and determination.
